Did you know that the Omaha SQL/BI User group will be hosting Omaha's Second SQL Saturday on April 6th, 2013? Well, if you didn't, you do now! Please spread the word to those around you who might be interested as well.
If you aren't aware, SQL Saturday is a training event for just about any professional who has a desire to learn more about Microsoft SQL Server and its related technologies. It will be held at the same location as the last event, Mammel Hall at University of Nebraska - Omaha. Admittance to this event is free, but we do charge a lunch fee of $10.00 so that we can provide a lunch from Parker’s Smokehouse! You do not have to purchase lunch if you don't want it, but we do offer it.
We have some great national and local speakers lined up for the event such as Glenn Berry & Joseph Sack from SQLskills and Steve Jones from Red Gate, as well as many others!
You can find out more information about the event along with the list of sessions and speakers here: http://sqlsaturday.com/197/eventhome.aspx
The schedule of sessions has already been posted so go take a look! Please makes sure to register as seating is limited!
This year we are also doing pre-con sessions on Friday April 5th at the Blue Cross Blue Shield facility. We have three excellent speakers that will be coming in to do all-day training sessions.
Practical Self-Service BI with PowerPivot 2012 for Excel - Bill Pearson
PowerShell Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love PowerShell - Jeff Hicks
Scaling SQL Server 2012 – Glenn Berry
Each individual session is $115 and all proceeds will be going to the user group. You can find out more at http://sqlsaturdayomahaprecon.eventbrite.com. How can you pass up top notch training for only $115 per session?
If you have any questions at all about the event or the pre-con sessions, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
