Some of the standard questions about a DotNetNuke site are often answered with a T-SQL Query: Why is my database so big? What table is the largest? How do you get a list of user’s properties? How many visitors came to my site yesterday? This presentation will focus on the various T-SQL commands that can help improve the day-to-day functionality of a DotNetNuke site. Using standard and free modules, the session will demonstrate helpful T-SQL queries that will answer common operational questions. Updating your site and wanting to determine what 3rd party modules are located on what pages? This session will help you develop reports to ensure your upgrades deliver few surprises. The presentation will also help the attendees understand some of the standard data relationships in a DotNetNuke database so that they can use the tools and techniques discussed to develop T-SQL queries of their own. The presentation will focus on the DotNetNuke V5 database structures including the new audit fields added in V5. SESSION 1: The New Efficiency: Windows 2008 R2 Server 2008 R2 has many new features and tools that have revolutionized the way Administrators can secure and develop their infrastructure. In this session we will go over some of the new features that make Server 2008 R2 the unique system it is and a whole lot easier to manage. SESSION 2: Building an ASP.net Server on Server Core R2 Windows Server 2008 R2 introduces a new command-line utility, DISM, the Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool. One of DISM’s many useful features is the ability to use its edition-servicing commands to upgrade an R2 installation without requiring install media.
